Ok... So yeas this is hitting the pagan list like look at this......... Wait... if you read the story this wiccan is saying that police are infringing on her religious beliefs. But her neighbors complained because she was disturbing them. They find her with headphones on singing around the fire...... Wearing just a t-shirt and underwear. What every well dressed wiccan will be wearing this summer ......
Guess what if you play your music to loud your neighbors can call the police and report you. Yea it may mean the neighbors are kinda freaked : Oh my Gawd there is a witch in the neighborhood... What? We all come from the goddess?? but then it could mean that your chants where too loud. Or maybe your singing was freaking them out even more........ We all know people like that...

Lupercalia
Lupercalia
February 15 Th. is the celebration known as Lupercalia. It celebrates the love for partners (like husband and wife), parents, and friends! It is a Roman holiday for fertility and love. Many other cultures celebrate this holiday as Valentines
Day ( a day early). We see the cupid, which is the son of the goddess Venus. Cupid is said to have arrows of love, once you are hit by these arrows you are to fall in love. The heart shape is a Norse love rune! How pagan!!
But for Lupercalia why not make some wonderful things for the special people you love.
Ideas for Mom: (hey you always can do this for Mother's Day also)
(ideas for older sisters too.)
Scented cream or lotion
Unscented cream, lotion or baby oil
6-10 Drops of her favorite Essential Oil
Just add Mom or sister's essential oil to the cream, lotion or baby oil. Can add to a pretty bottle if wanted. Or leave in bottle it came in. Ad some pretty ribbon and or ribbon flowers to make the bottle special.
I know someone who loved a gift like this just cause it was sandalwood....
Balt salts
1/3 cup Epsom salts
1/3 cup sea salt
1/3 baking soda
6 to 10 drops of her favorite Essential Oil
Mix together.. add to pretty bottle or jar. The longer you let it sit the stronger the smell.
Calming
Chamomile
Jasmine
Rose
Lavender
Relaxing
Orange
Lemon
Peppermint
Rosemary
Dad's Ideas:
Aftershave.
First get mom to help cause this craft uses alcohol and we don't want you to get in trouble......
½ cups of vodka (alcohol)
2 teaspoons of rum (more alcohol)
2 bay leaves
couple of whole allspice
1 cinnamon stick
zest of a orange (that's the orange part no white stuff)
To zest a orange you can use a zester or a sharp knife (Mom helps again..) or use a peeler and lightly scrape with the peeler zest off the orange. Mix together in a bottle or jar. Jars are easier cause they have bring opening for the solid stuff to be added. Let sit for 2 to 3 weeks. Strain with cheese cloth or a coffee filter. Throw away the solid stuff and pour liquid in a bottle.
